Zehnder ComfoTube

ComfoTube is a semi-rigid duct air distribution system which offers an easy to install solution for ventilation systems like MVHR (Heat Recovery).  Delivered in rolls and manufactured from HDPE.  it offers fast installation with a simple cut and connect method, further improved by the latest Rapid Lock technology. 

With a smooth internal coating called Clinside aids flow performance and makes Zehnder Comfotube easy to clean. As a semi-rigid solution, a central manifold is connected to a series of individual duct runs that go to each room.

Zehnder Comfotube Semi Rigid Ducting is available in 75mm and 90mm duct diameter - airflow performance requirements will dictate which is the most suitable option for your home MVHR Ventilation system. 

Lightweight & Durable

With a smooth internal coating, Zehnder Comfotube reduces dirt build up when installed.  The ducting is anti-corrosive and is strong enough to be installed in many applcications including in concrete.

Zehnder RapidLock

The majority of semi-rigid ducting components are simply pushed together and locked in place with sealing rings, clips and clamps.  Zehnder RapidLock is simple click and connect to achieve an airtight seal. 

How Much Weight Can It Withstand?

This duct is very durable and has a ring stiffness greater than 8 kN/m². It can also be sit in concrete which will add to the strength by protecting against weight from other materials.

How Do I Know What Parts I Need?

A MVHR System is designed to calculate airflow and plan ducting layouts.  During this process, a suitable manifold, duct size and other compoenents such as grille housings are specified so that the system works effectively and provides installed performance. What sizes are available for Comfotube?

Zehnder Comfotube is available in two sizes: 70mm and 90mm.  If you are unsure which size you need, speak with one of our MVHR Ventilation Specialists to discuss airflow requirements and installation options. 

Zehnder RapidLock

Zehnder have taken simplicity to a new level, now with Zehnder Comfotube RapidLock which makes connecting semi-rigid ducting pipes seamless .  In replacement of sealing rings, clips and connectors, you simply push fit and lock in. This also offers benefits for future maintenance as parts can easily be disconnected and reconnected with ease.
